Weed Removal Service

If you have a lawn, chances are there are weeds in it. How do you get rid of them? That is a question that many homeowners have and we have the answer. Hiring a weed removal service company is the way to go. They are trained professionals on how to get the job done. From getting rid of those clumps of clover, never seeing a dandelion pop up again, and losing those unsightly patches of crabgrass. These weeds will just pop up out of nowhere and it often leaves a homeowner feeling helpless when it comes to weed control. One of the best ways to remove and prevent those weeds from popping up it treating the issue before it is even an issue. Proactive weed removal and control services applied by a professional lawn service is the best way to get that healthy and thick lawn that you have been looking forward to.

When you hire a professional lawn care service that is able to implement a weed removal plan they complete a list of tasks to prevent, remove, and lose all sight of weeds in the lawn. They will start by working to identify the weeds that are currently growing in the lawn. Knowing what type of weed that they are dealing with allows them to establish an effective plan to rid the lawn of these pests. Weeds are usually identified by searching for board leafed objects and then can be identified from there. Theses are called board leafed weed, then there are grassy weeds that can grow. Often many pass over this type of weed because it looks so much like grass, but it a species of grass known as crabgrass, quackgrass, foxtail grass, or bluegrass. The last type of weed is another weed that looks much like grass again but they are grass like type weeds. This type of weed looks like grass from a standing position, but once viewed closer it will be noticed that the leaves are triangle or tub shaped leaves. It will not be flat as a blade of grass. Most know these types of weed as wild onion or wild garlic. After all the different types of weeds are identified it is time to prepare the treatment plan.

Weed removal service plans can be tricky. The goal is to remove what seems like a lawn of weeds and turn it into a lawn of thick lush grass. Weeds removal has to be tackled head on. Often when the plan is developed many will suggest a plan of using fertilizer and turf builder at the same time. Using these two treatments together is very effective in getting control over the board leaf type of weeds. It works to kill off the stubborn type weeds and then feeds the current grass to strengthen it allowing it to take over where the weeds are leaving. For other types of weeds, it is best to go with a weed removal that is designed just for controlling the weeds in the lawn. So to treat for grassy weeds and grass type weeds it is effective just to go right with the weed removal treatments. These products can be very strong and it is best for a professional to apply and treat the lawn. A treatment plan to remove the weeds will leave your lawn looking the best it has in years.

Now that you have all the weeds removed and the lawn is looking at its best, it is time to maintain that beautiful lush lawn. After a professional service has worked to remove all the weeds then they will develop a service plan to be proactive about weed control. Often the plan will have a schedule to regularly feed the lawn. Giving the lawn what it needs to thrive allows the lawn to be healthy and not stressed out. When the grass is under stress it will have a chance to be taken over by those aggressive weeds. A schedule for feeding the lawn should happen about every six to eight weeks for the best results.               Another way to prevent those weeds from popping back up when the mowing service comes around. They will leave the grass a bit higher. When the grass is taller it is stronger which means it will grow thicker. The thicker the grass the harder it is for those weeds to make their appearance. Along with grass feedings and mowing height, the last thing, but not the least important is to water that grass on a regular schedule. When the soil is moist the grassroots have a chance to grow deeper. This allows the grass to be as strong as it can be.

Weed removal and treatment plans are the best way to rid the lawn of weeds and keep them gone. Hiring a professional to develop and implement a plan is easy. They take care of it all.
